Should The "N" Word Be Used In Books?
In my opinion I think we should take into account the impact it could have on the readers. If you take it out of books and replace it with a less derogatory term, then how will kids know about the true history of slavery. It's one of those questions you ask when you are uncertain of things. Should I keep this word in books to tell the true history or should I take it out because it might offend some people. I believe that the "N" word should be taken out of books that will be used for grades K-8th grade. The level of maturity is quite low during those grades. Once they reach high school, they should be mature enough to be able to handle the book without any censorship.

My Strengths and Weaknesses in Writing
I am good at writing
fictional stories because I am able to visualize the topic that I am writing
about. It may be easier for me to write fictional stories because that is
pretty much all that I read. Most of the time I do exceptionally great on my
grammar and spelling but there are times where I make a mistake. When writing
papers, I find it pretty easy to locate the information that I need to be able
to write my paper. The Internet is a useful tool and I know how to navigate
quickly through websites to find my information.
I have sort of a tough
time writing about nonfictional things partly because I cannot imagine it and
also because I may not know that much about that topic. If I am trying to rush
through a paper to make a deadline, I will try to go back through and look for
mistakes but 7 times out of 10, I usually miss the mistakes.
